  We were vacationing in the area, saw this place on Yelp and it was the first place we tried as soon as we arrived in town. Did not disappoint!
  
  Oversized portions, including the fries and onion rings. Don't be like us and order too much! I had the Chicken in the Grass and it was excellent. I also tried some of their fries and they are my kind of fries: a little soft and greasy.
  
  We loved it so much we went back a few days later. I like spicy things so this time, I got the Chicken Diablo. Thank God we got a side of onion rings to share because the Diablo lives up to its name.
  
  It's small inside so probably not great for large groups, although our group of 7 took up 2 tables and we were fine. Kind of a hole in the wall on the outside, but don't judge a book by its cover: great food awaits you inside.

  Went to Salmich's today, 4PM expecting excellent things from word of mouth.  The menu looked great and the restaurant was full of people.  I thought this is for sure a great place for lunch.  Hole in the wall with lots of people the food must be killer.  Ordered medium rare Bentley burger fries and drink, by the way tons of great seeming menu options.  Total was $17 and change, a lil much for burger combo but no biggie as I expected food awesome.  It took 35 minutes to get food to my table, I refilled drink 3 times at this point.  
  
  The burger looked delicious overflowing with juicy and greasy topping, thick patty.  Took a bit into the burger it was super well done.  Patty not juicy and pink in the middle as the only way to eat burger.  At this point, 40 minutes into the game, I did not bother making a fuss about the burger; as I did not have time to sit and wait for another if I ordered.  Took left overs home and fed patty to dog.  
  
  I know Mr. Salmich will probably not see this review nor care due to the outstanding yelp rating thus far.  4 stars 150+ reviews.  What does one bad rating matter in actuality...  I do want to make others aware of my experience.  Ratings can be deceiving.  I hope this was an off day for the neat spot.  Should I return next time, will definitely not order burger.  Tons of conceptually yummy eye catching things on the menu to get you excited.

  Great burgers, huge portions and delicious fries.
  
  Let me break this down for you. If you want an ok burger that is cheap and fast, this is NOT the place for you. There is a Wendy's across the street, knock yourself out.
  You come here if you want a huge meal. My husband can scare waitresses at an all-you-can eat restaurant with his ability to eat a lot. He couldn't finish his meal. You will pay good money for your big burger and that's ok. You should pay a lot, it's what the burger is worth. You will wait for your food, especially if it is busy in there. It takes time to make food that is good and fresh.
  I am from upstate NY and was very happy with my meal and look forward to getting a Friday fish fry, though my husband and I will share it. I already know it will be too big for me to eat it all, and I am looking forward to that problem.

  First time I've been here. What have I been missing?
  Go hungry...I thought it was a little overpriced until I got my hoagie delivered to my table. Wow! It was amazing!

  Wow this is hidden gem in Norfolk. I think I drove past this place over a dozen times and never noticed it until I ate there and boom.
  
  This is a place to get hot hoagies and steak sandwiches. They serve large portions so bring your appetite. They also serve everything hot off the grill. It pays homage to Buffalo style of cooking.
  
  I got the Italian Beef sandwich with hot peppers and it was awesome. The beef was hot and just cooked on the grill and the bread they used made it melt in my mouth.
  
  They also have other steak sandwiches on their menu which looked great.
